Before you start

Use a desktop or laptop for larger batches. AI detection downloads an RMBG-1.4 model of around 80 MB from Hugging Face and caches it locally. Threshold detection works without this download.

Check the preview before using the finished photos, particularly for glass, reflections or fine edges. Keep your original files. Your photos are processed locally; usage and feedback events help us improve the tool.

Crop product images with a consistent look

Product photos often arrive with different amounts of empty space around the object. This bulk image cropper detects the product in each photo and builds the crop around it. Set uniform margins or adjust the top, right, bottom and left separately.

Choose a square, portrait, landscape or custom aspect ratio. Position the product towards the top, bottom or sides, and set a target size for the longer or shorter edge. This helps prepare a consistent set of images for your online shop or product catalogue.

How to batch crop images

  1. Add your photos. Drag in JPG, PNG or WebP images, or click to select files.
  2. Choose a detection method. Threshold suits plain backgrounds; AI can help with more complex scenes.
  3. Set the crop and output. Choose margins, proportions, background colour, file format and image quality.
  4. Review the results. Adjust the current preview, apply crop settings to all completed images or reprocess the queue when changing detection.
  5. Download your photos. Save one image or download the completed batch as a ZIP file.

Save presets for repeated jobs

Create a preset for square shop images, another for landscape catalogue photos and another for transparent PNGs. Each preset stores crop, export and detection settings, including filename prefixes and suffixes. Export presets as JSON to move them to another browser.

Background removal and export options

Keep a solid background colour or use a transparent background with PNG or WebP. Adjust edge smoothing, output quality and sharpening. Use filename prefixes and suffixes to keep the processed images easy to identify.

Prepare images for your shop or marketplace

Use the settings to prepare images for Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon or other sales channels. Check the current requirements for your listing and choose the dimensions, background and crop accordingly. The tool does not automatically check marketplace compliance.

Use Threshold for products on a plain studio background. It works without downloading an AI model. Try AI for more complex backgrounds. Check the preview, especially around transparent materials, reflections and fine edges.
Yes. Turn on background removal in the Background tab, then choose a transparent background and PNG or WebP output. JPEG does not support transparency. Review the result before downloading.

A desktop or laptop is recommended. Processing runs on your device, and the AI model requires a download of around 80 MB. Large batches can be slow or exceed the memory available on a phone.
